Get Involved
Activities outside of the classroom can help facilitate and foster these relationships. We offer a wide variety of ways our students can get involved and connect with positive peers and adults.
There are also opportunities for our families to get involved including joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Building Accountability & Advisory Committee (BAAC), and working in WSD3!
Activities
Choir
Permission slips must be returned to Mrs. Lowman before your student may participate.
There will be an activity bus for those who take the bus to school.
We will also perform at the Air Force Academy to sing the National Anthem with other choirs from around the area This is not a mandatory event, but a great experience. Families are invited to attend this event. Ticket are $13.00 each family member including the choir student. Forms will be sent home the first rehearsal.
The only cost to be a member of the Webster Wildcat Choir is to purchase a choir shirt and black pants. Parents may purchase a shirt to support our group. Shirts cost $8.50 and must be paid no later than TBA. Please complete the permission for and have your student return it before or on TBA. Without this form they cannot start choir until it is turned in.

Please print all information on the permission slip, especially the email. This is my main form of communication with parents.

I will be using Class DoJo for attendance, positive attitudes, singing expectations and behavioral issues. I will be sending you email to sign up for this tool of communication with you. Our 4th grade and some of our 5th grade teachers use Class DoJo as well.

Coding
Open to : 3rd, 4th and 5th graders
Meets: Wednesdays from 2:45-4:00 p.m., in the computer lab. There will be an activity bus provided for those who ride the bus.
Coding club involves learning how to code for Arduino boards, Sphero balls and drones. The club will have a major competition in March made up of teams of 4. It is important that the student understands they have to work with 3 other children as a team and there will be extra work to do at home on code.org homepage
Our club will also have shirts, which will cost approximately $8.50 to $10.00. Once we know more about the design and cost, we will send an order form home. Students will need this shirt for workshops and competition in the spring.
We are looking forward to helping your student learn how to code!
